Free National Parks and More

Free National Park access for fourth graders through the end of August 2021. The Every Kid Outdoors program gives fourth graders and their families free access to every National Park in the United States. And this year it has been extended to include fifth graders. Free admission covers the whole family – all children under 16 and up to three adults. And if you’re a teacher, sign up to get passes for your entire class. Check it out at everykidoutdoors.gov.

If you live in New York, take advantage of some free skiing for your youngsters with the SKI NY Passport Program-Kids Ski Free. This is open to all third and fourth graders. It only covers the lift ticket and isn’t valid on weekends or holidays this year. There is a processing fee, but one or two trips will get your money back. This program usually offers more, but is limited due to the pandemic.
